The Veena Ekandam Saraswati is a premium Carnatic classical instrument, skillfully handcrafted from a single block of well–seasoned Jackwood (Ekandam), ensuring perfect resonance, tonal depth and long–lasting structural stability. This construction style is highly valued among traditional musicians for its pure sound and acoustic richness.
The veena features a traditional carved yaali (dragon head), intricate floral motifs and a polished natural finish that highlights the grain of the wood. The tonal chamber and resonator are precisely carved for balanced bass response, sustain and clarity.
